Problems with authentication and registration

Why do you need to register?

Registration may not be required and may vary depending on your administrator's policy. However, registration provides access to additional features, such as choosing an avatar, private messages, sharing email addresses with colleagues, subscribing to user groups, and others. The registration process only takes a few minutes and is recommended.

Why can't I register?

Your IP address may be blocked or your username may already be in use. In this case, contact your administrator for assistance.

Why can't I log in?

There are several reasons, including incorrect login information or account suspension. If the information entered is correct, contact the administrator to check your account or possible error on the site.

I was previously registered, but I can't log in now!

Your account may have been deactivated by an administrator or deleted due to inactivity. Try registering again and actively participating in discussions.

I forgot my password! Don't worry, you can easily reset your password.

Simply follow the instructions on the login page to reset your password. If you have any difficulties, contact your administrator for help.

Why does the system automatically log me out of my account?

If you do not select the “Remember Me” option when logging in, the system will automatically log you out after a certain time to protect your privacy. This is especially important when using a shared computer.

Custom Settings

How to change settings?

If you are a registered user, all your settings are stored in a database. To change your settings, go to your user dashboard, which can be found by clicking on your username at the top of the board page. Here you can customize all your preferences.

How to hide my online status?

In the “Board Settings” section of the user control panel there is an option “Hide online status”. By enabling this option, you will only be visible to administrators, moderators, and yourself. You will be considered a hidden user.

Private messages

Why can't I send private messages?

Contact your board administrator for more information.

I keep receiving unwanted private messages!

You can automatically delete private messages from certain users using message rules in your user dashboard. If you receive offensive messages from a specific user, please report it to the moderators; they can prevent that user from sending private messages.

I received spam or offensive mail on this board!

We regret this. The email form feature on this board includes precautions to track users sending such messages. Please send an email to the board admin with a full copy of the letter you received, including headers containing information about the user who sent it. This way the administrator can take action.
